Powerdrift, 11th August 2007
We attended a round in the norwegian drifting league, Powerdrift. Unfortunatly HerskerHans was beaten by Halllon in the finals, but managed to secure a second place and 80 points in the series.
Hopefully we will see a lot more driving like this from HerskerHans, as the judges felt that this was some of the best driving they had seen all season, rating several of his runs at 99 and 100 out of a possible 100 points.

Drift battle, 14th April 2007
We attended the first Drift Battle trackday / licencing day with just two cars. Hersker's 200SX S13 with a transplanted GTO LS1 V8, and MrLucky's old faithfull Volvo 740 Turbo. The V8 nissan was finished and had its first test drive two days before it was supposed to roll onto the track and thankfully everything seemed to be in good order the day before its drifting debut.
MrLucky also managed some pretty good drifting action. This was his first attempt since he broke his right hand in a motorcross accident fall 2006. Luckily he was able to drift almost as good as his old skill level.

Phil Clarke remixes!
Apparently a mysterious person called Phil Clarke has been making remixes of our videoes and posting them on Street Fire, and they are actually pretty cool. If you read this Phil, it would be cool to get in contact with you. Maybe you could post on the forum or something :)Check them out at Street Fire.
Winter season upcoming!!
It still looks geen outside, but before we know it the snow is back :)
And that only means Ice-Drifting!
Some eager driftfunners have already purchased a new beemer to play with in the snow,
so stay tuned for pictures and videos of this action!
The first planned event is Hebbes 6 January 07.

2006's Last Drift event!
2006's major norwegian event!Da er det bestemt at det blir driftingløp på Rudskogen den 21. oktober. Dette blir et prøveløp i forbindelse med at drifting nå endelig blir tatt opp som egen gren i Norges Bilsportforbund. Det vil komme mer info i løpet av uken som kommer, men her er det viktigste.

Summer Season!
Driftfun attended the great www.sommertreff.no event at ACR - Artic Circle raceway. We managed to use about 20 tires, and have loads of fun... Two minor crashes, and poor Chiller had a mean one that dented his rear side quite hard. Loads of pictures are added nicely in the Gallery, and a video is added on the Video Section. But the summer is still here, and there is more Drifting ahead!To check out some of the fun we had last winter you can take a look at the gallery from Lisjoen, March 2005.
More action in the garage
Winter time also means more time spent indoors. The sun goes down earlier and its just not as fun to be outside in the blistering cold. This means we get to spend more time in the garage, and this winter is going to be special!
NiteLite and HansK has started a large project turning an ordinary 200SX S13 into a fully-flegded drift machine. If you understand norwegian you can even read about this project on the forum. It has been given its own section and you can follow their progress and plans there.
